José Mourinho didn’t stay free for long after being sacked from Tottenham, as he quickly found an engagement in Italy, where he rose to footballing glory with Inter Milan. This time, however, he moved to the capital, taking over AS Rome.
And he’s having a great start to the season. Four competitive games, four wins, 12:2. First AS beat Trabzonspor 2-1 in the Conference Preliminary Round, then they beat Fiorentina 3-1. Jose Mourinho’s charges won their home rematch with Trabzonspor 3:0, then beat newcomer Salernitan 4:0 at the weekend.
And on the train ride home, the Portuguese coach allowed himself a little celebration. And being in Italy, he could have nothing but pizza for dinner.
“After a wonderful win, there’s nothing better than a special pizza,” wrote José Mourinho on his Instagram, who in the video is dining on pizza and washing it down with coca-cola.
José Mourinho’s Instagram is very popular among fans. The former Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester United coach often gives his fans a glimpse behind the scenes of the big clubs and he also knows how to entertain his followers.
