The right side of Slavie’s team worked very well in Thursday’s match against Legia Warsaw, with Lukáš Masopust and Alexander Bah doing well. The latter spoke in an interview for the club’s website.

Slavia held the ball in sixty-five percent of possession on Thursday, with only two shots on target, but they cashed in twice.

“I think we should have won the game. They had two shots on goal and scored two goals. We have to convert our chances. But we showed that we are the better team. I think we have to do the same performance in Poland, we just have to convert our chances,” Bah said in an interview on the club’s website.

Bah himself scored his first Cup goal in the red and white jersey. He and Lukas Masopust had a signal at one of the corners and the Danish defender swept the back post.

“We’ve seen some videos from their previous games which showed that they had gaps between them. So we tried to play the standard situation accordingly and luckily for us it worked out,” explained the Danish defender.

Over fourteen thousand fans drove Slavia to win, which is a very nice number considering all the problems with testing and such. In the end they had to settle for a draw.

“I have no words to describe their support. Every time we play here they are there for us until the 90th minute. No matter what happens. I enjoy playing here every time. Hopefully we can repay them with a win in Poland,” Bah hopes.

In a week’s time, the Susians have a lot of work to do, because they have to win. Although the home Legia will not have their main stand open, the “boilersport” will reportedly move to the south stand.
