Video: Fire Werner from the club, a fan demanded at Chelsea training session

At one point it was very stuffy at Chelsea training. One of the fans, who had access to the preparation of Thomas Tuchel’s charges, demanded the departure of German striker Tim Werner.

Chelsea organised a training session, which was open to their fans, so they could see how the preparation of the team, which is the favourite for the title for many experts, looks like.

However, one of the fans in attendance caused quite a controversy when he was given a microphone and asked what he predicted the outcome of the Blues’ next game, saying

His statement, of course, drew a wave of disapproval from other fans. Immediately there were boos and one particularly irate fan started shouting at the heckler to leave.

Werner has had a not-so-successful opening season at Chelsea. He did contribute a total of 27 goals (12+15), but many fans expected far more. Even so, they have now expressed their support for him, with some even calling for the disgruntled fan to be banned from the stadium.

Werner himself, however, was clearly not too worried about the incident, as you can see in the next video. Rather, it looks like he and his teammates and Tuchel laughed off the whole situation and continued training.
