There has been speculation for some time about where Michal Sadílek’s next steps will lead. There was a possibility of staying at PSV Eindhoven or even a transfer to Sparta Prague. Finally, the 22-year-old midfielder is going on loan to the Dutch club FC Twente.
Twenty-two-year-old midfielder Michal Sadílek is leaving PSV Eindhoven for a one-year loan to FC Twente. The guest contract also includes an option to buy him out.
The native of Uherské Hradiště is already looking forward to his first minutes at his new club, and to coming up against another Czech representative at the club, Václav Černý.
“FC Twente is a great club with a good selection. They exude ambition. I would like to stay in touch with the Czech national team, so it’s important that I get regular minutes. The fact that I will soon be on the pitch with Vaclav Cerny is special and makes it extremely beautiful, ” Sadilek said.
“The opportunity to bring Sadilek was a godsend. He can play football very well and has a fantastic mentality. He is an international player for a reason and Sparta Prague, a big club from his home country, the Czech Republic, was interested in him. That says a lot.”
“At PSV, Sadilek played mainly in midfield, but he can also play well as a left back,” said FC Twente technical director Jan Streuer after the Czech youngster’s arrival.
