Costa returns to Europe! He will play in Poland again

Thirty-five-year-old Costa Nhamoinesu spent last season in India, playing for Kerala Blasters. Now he has decided to return to Europe, and to familiar surroundings. The experienced defender returns to Poland, where he has signed for one season with Podbeskidzia Bielsko-Biala.

Costa Nhamoinesu is one of the legends of Sparta Prague, where he spent seven seasons. He played 203 matches for the team in which he scored fifteen times.

He contributed to the championship title and two Czech Cup triumphs. A year ago, his contract at Letná expired, so he decided to go to far away India for an exotic engagement, where he agreed on a contract with Kerala Blasters.

After a year in India, Costa decided to return to Europe. This season we will see him back in Poland, where his career in Europe actually started. In the past he played there for Zaglebia Lubin and Wisla Ustronianka.

Now he has agreed on a one-year contract at the second league club Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biala. This club experienced a huge disappointment last season when it was relegated from the top competition.

It is Costa who is expected to be among the team’s leaders who will help to make an immediate return to the Polish elite.
