VAR again! The aggrieved Boca Juniors players wanted to talk to the referees after the game. The Brazilian police had to intervene!
The Boca Juniors players felt aggrieved after VAR did not award what they felt was a legitimate goal. After the subsequent defeat, they could not keep their emotions in check and a big scuffle broke out in the stadium tunnel between the two teams and subsequently the Brazilian police.

In the Copa Libertadores South American Cup semi-finals, Atletico Mineiro of Brazil and Boca Juniors of Argentina faced each other.
Both matches ended in a 0:0 draw in normal time, while in both matches the Argentine side was disallowed a goal after a review by the video referee.
After the penalty shootout, Atletico Mineiro eventually advanced, but it didn’t end there, quite the opposite. Boca’s players and management team were absolutely certain that they had been wrongly relegated.
“Without a doubt, everyone saw it. We scored nice goals and the fact is that we should have won the first game. It hurts, we feel bad. Conmebool (South African Football Association) should focus on the referees,” Boca midfielder Diego Gonzales said when asked if the referee played a major role in their elimination.
After the final whistle, the players moved into the tunnel where things started to heat up. At first, players from both teams exchanged barbed words. Then the physical attacks started and everything the players had on hand, even metal barriers, started flying around.
The Argentinian players wanted to get to the referees and probably have their way with them. However, they were prevented from doing so by the intervention of the police, who even used tear gas as a means of coercion.
