“I’m very happy to become part of Paris Saint-Germain. It’s a big change in my life and a new challenge. I will never forget this day,“ the former Real Madrid captain announced in an interview with the club’s website.
During his career, the incisive stopper has already won over 20 trophies. Increasing that number is one of the main motivations for Ramos to sign for the French big club.
“I am very proud to be part of this ambitious project and a team with so many great players. Paris Saint-Germain is a club that has already proven itself at the highest level. I want to improve here and help the team to win as many trophies as possible.”
“Today Paris welcomes one of our greatest players in the club’s history. We are excited to announce that Sergio Ramos is joining us,” announced club president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi
“Sergio is a versatile footballer, one of the best defenders in the history of football. He is a leader and a true professional,“ the Qatari businessman did not spare any praise. “His tremendous experience and ambition are in perfect synergy with our club. I am proud to see him in a Paris jersey. Our fans will surely give him a fantastic welcome.”
