North Macedonia vs. Netherlands: preview and betting tips
North Macedonia and the Netherlands will also play their last matches in their group. Both have their positions clearly defined. The Netherlands will advance from first place and Macedonia will finish the tournament.
North Macedonia and the Netherlands will also play their last matches in their group. Both have their positions clearly defined. The Netherlands will advance from first place and Macedonia will finish the tournament.
The Netherlands have won both their group matches so far. First they beat Ukraine 3:2 in their opening match, then they beat Austria 2:0. The Oranjes are certain to advance from first place and a small rotation of the starting line-up is expected.
North Macedonia, on the other hand, lost both their matches. In the first match they lost to Austria 1:3, in the second match they lost to Ukraine 1:2.
PSV’s right wing-back Denzel Dumfries was very impressive in the Oranjes’ squad. He scored two goals and is the Netherlands’ top scorer and most productive player.
Macedonia’s experienced striker Goran Pandev will play his last game at a major international tournament. He has scored one goal so far in the tournament. Alioski is also showing promising performances, despite missing a penalty.
So we can expect Oranjes coach Frank de Boer to rotate the line-up and give some players who haven’t played here a chance.
So what to bet on ? I expect more ball possession on the Netherlands side with Macedonia threatening on the counter attacks. In both games they have asserted themselves and will do so in the last game of the championship.
