Italy has not lost a single point in the Euro group stage and will advance to the next stage from first place. Moreover, they have not scored a single goal! However, watch out for the form that coach Mancini’s charges have had for quite some time!

The Italians haven’t lost 30 matches in a row! This means matching the 82-year-old record of the Italian national team, which was set between 1935 and 1939.

Just to give you an idea! Back then, Italy was coached by the legendary Vittorio Pozzo (the only coach in history to win the 1934 and 1938 World Cups twice) and the feared dictator Benito Mussolini was in the Italian government at the time.

Other statistical portals came up with the information that the team from the Apennine peninsula became the first ever (since 1980) to pass the Euro group stage without a goal scored.
