Where and with whom can the Czechs face in the eighth round? There are several options in play
The Czechs already knew before the match with England that they would advance to the eight finals, all they had to do was find out from which position in the table. In the end it’s from third, which means a fairly strong opponent, but probably not as strong as England will get.

England, as the winner of Group D, will face the second team from Group F, the group of death. So Albion will face one of the trio of France, Portugal, Germany.
The Czechs from third place have several options, but only from two groups.
The first option is a duel with the Netherlands on Sunday 27 June at 18:00 in Budapest. Memphis Depay and co. dominated their group with full points, but the advantage could be a full stadium, where a few Czechs could get in.
The other possibility is a clash with the winner of Group E. That could be any of the foursome of Sweden, Slovakia, Spain, Poland. If the Swedes win their duel, they will surely be first.
However, this would require that the third team from Group B or C does not qualify for the eight finals. The match would be played on Tuesday 29 June in Glasgow.
Italy-Austria are the first certain eight-finalists, with Wales-Denmark next. The winners of their groups, the Netherlands, Belgium and England, are still waiting for their opponents, as are the Czechs and the Croats.
