Wales made it out of the group fairly easily. It drew 1-1 with a strong Switzerland to start, then snatched a crucial win against Turkey and finally lost 0-1 to Italy in a straightforward battle for top spot.
Denmark fought until the last minute of the last match. After unlucky losses to Finland and Belgium, they had to beat Russia by the biggest possible margin. This was done and the 4:1 win moved them on.
In the Wales jersey, the duo of Gareth Bale, Aaron Ramsey shines in particular. The two of them get on well, find each other with passes and are the backbone of Wales’ game. Keifer Moore and Joe Rodon also deserve attention.
The Danes’ mainstay Christian Eriksen, of course, is unavailable. He has been well replaced by Pierre Emile Hojbjerg, who has already assisted two goals in the tournament. Yussuf Poulsen scored two goals.
Wales will miss Ampadu due to a red card, Denmark will miss the aforementioned Eriksen.
Wales are based on a solid defence, having conceded more than one goal in only one of their last seven games.
Denmark, on the other hand, boast a goal-scoring attack, with the Danes scoring twenty-four times in their last nine games.
Even though Wales are clear underdogs, I don’t think they will lose after regulation time.
