According to the Supercomputer, the winner of the Euro will be the Czech Republic, which many football fans and experts do not even predict to win the first match against the Netherlands.
Will a miracle happen like in 2004, when Greece, the “grey mouse” of the tournament, lifted the trophy for the winner of the European Championship?
Sportradar’s simulated reality in the regular season managed to predict a total of 5 accurate results and gave a total of 10 picks for the correct winner.
“This summer tournament proves how accurate our simulations can be,” said Werner Becher, Sportradar’s Managing Director for Europe.
“The simulated reality uses advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities and is based on historical data collected over the last twenty years. Football matches in simulated reality reflect team form and normal match conditions,” he added.
Of course, a surprising outcome is never out of the question. The game format of the tournament (especially in the knockout phase) cannot eliminate such results, quite the contrary.
