Belgium reverses the match with Denmark and celebrates promotion

Belgium entered the Group B match as the paper favourite. However, Belgium missed the start of the match and after a mistake in the quarterbacking, they lost for the first time in the tournament. The match was finally broken by the arrival of Kevin De Bruyne.

The home side entered the match much more actively. The first goal came in the second minute when Yussuf Poulsen took advantage of an inaccurate pass from Jaosn Denayer. The Danes took a surprising lead.
