Polish fighter Jan Blachowicz is the reigning UFC champion. In September, he will face Glover Teixera, but if he wins, Czech fighter Jiri Prochazka will be next. What did the Pole say about him?

Jan Blachowicz is a thirty-eight year old reigning UFC champion of Polish descent. He now faces a title fight with Glover Teixeira.

However, Jiri Prochazka, who has knocked out another opponent in the UFC, has also signed up to fight the Pole with his performances, so it is expected that he will be Blachowicz’s next challenger, that is, if he makes his fight.

Almost everyone is taking it as a fait accompli, and so are both fighters. The Polish fighter spoke about Prochazka in an interview with iSport.

“I don’t know him personally, so I can’t judge what he is like. But from what I see in the media and how he fights, I think he’s a great guy, a great fighter. But if we ever meet in the cage in the future, I’m sorry, but I have to beat him. Knock him out. So Jiri, be ready for that,” he said.

He mentioned the Czech fighter at the last KSW tournament, where he was not in the octagon, but in the corner. Patrik Kincl also showed up at the same tournament, defeating Tomasz Romanowski by TKO.
