For several months now, there has been considerable speculation in European football about whether Cristiano Ronaldo will actually leave Juventus or not. However, the Portuguese megastar does not have to worry about offers, as he already has three serious suitors.
Cristiano Ronaldo is still keeping his doors open, especially for this summer. According to ESPN, official communication between Ronaldo and the three serious candidates was also reported to have taken place.
And which clubs are they? PSG, Real Madrid and Manchester United. Sporting Lisbon were also previously rumoured. But here no communication has taken place yet, or rather no concrete one.
His contract at the Italian big club expires at the end of June next year, so it would also be logical if Juventus themselves tried to sell him in the upcoming transfer window. After all, the Old Lady sent €117 million to Spain for him in 2018!
The future regarding the 36-year-old legend is still very much open at the moment, as he is also communicating with Massimiliano Allegri and the club’s management about a new contract.
However, his departure is more than likely at the moment, a new club would have to meet the Italian giant’s sale conditions. Currently, Ronaldo’s market value stands at €45 million.
It is also quite obvious that Juventus will want to increase the asking price even more so that they collect at least 50% of the original purchase price from 2018.
With the Italian big club, Ronaldo celebrated the league title twice, in the 2018/19 and 2019/20 seasons. With the team, they also triumphed in the Italian Cup and also twice in the Italian Super Cup. In the 2018/19 season, he was named the best player of the year.
He has played 133 games for Juventus across all competitions, scoring an impressive 101 goals and assisting a further 22. In total, the Portuguese has already managed to play a phenomenal 894 games in his career, scoring 674 goals and 229 assists.
