The Czech national football team is preparing for the European Championships in Natz, Italy, where they have a beautiful setting for full training for the tournament.
However, Adam Hložek, who scored four goals for Brno at half-time over the weekend and moved into a tie for first place in the scorers’ table, did not appear at the morning training session.
Does this mean a problem for the national team? Apparently not, it is only a minor hip problem and the 18-year-old should join the team soon.
Already on Friday, coach Jaroslav Šilhavy’s selection will have its first difficult test, a friendly match against Italy.
They will then challenge Albania four days later and then look forward to the European Championship group stage matches.
There, the Czech team will first challenge Scotland on 14 June, followed by Croatia four days later and the group will end with England on 22 June.
