Ngannou’s gonna make some serious money in the PFL! He’s thinking about the opposition, plus he’s going to be the head of the African division
After announcing his end in the UFC, the wait was on to see where the former heavyweight champion would head. Francis Ngannou eventually chose the PFL and set terms that most only dream of. On top of that, he would also have to interfere in the workings of the organization, something he wasn’t going to be allowed to do anywhere else.

On top of that, he would also have to interfere in the operations of the organization, something he wasn’t going to be allowed to do anywhere else.
The feud between the UFC and Francis Ngannou has been going on for quite some time. After announcing his demise, Dana White was constantly throwing dirt on him, but the public was more on the side of the former champion, looking forward to see where his next steps would lead.
Now it’s clear, it’s the PFL, and it certainly wasn’t the only one he was in talks with. Negotiations with ONE FC or BKFC, which focuses on gloveless boxing matches, did not work out.
The reason was said to be the thirty-six-year-old Cameroonian’s financial demands were too high. The PFL has decided to accept his demands as it believes it will pay back in the future.
Ngannou is to receive 40 to 50% of the earnings from each event he is part of. In addition, he should also have a payout in the higher units of millions of dollars.
Even his eventual opponent should earn at least a million dollars per fight, so he wasn’t just thinking of himself. He won’t have to defend the belt in the PFL like he did in the UFC.
However, Ngannou would also be an ambassador for the African division, which would greatly increase the chances of fighters from that continent getting a quality contract.
It was the fact that he would be involved in this project that should have been really important to him. However, Ngannou only has an MMA deal with the PFL, and a maximum of three fights at that.
So he can still look for an organization for boxing fights, where he would also like to confirm his qualities. His future is thus nicely taken care of.
