Nenad Avramovic has had two fights in the RFA, against two of the organization’s stars. First, he shockingly guillotined Milan Datelinka and then managed to choke out David Hosek on the ground.

He expects the same scenario in his first ever RFA MMA title fight against Humburger. This title fight will conclude the entire RFA 11 VIP edition tournament in Bratislava.

First on the street, then in the gym

It’s no secret that many fighters first showed their skills on the street before starting their professional careers. Avramovic, who quit street fighting when he first started training martial arts, has a similar history.

“My first contact with martial arts was first on the street, it wasn’t the best way. Then my friends brought me to a Muay Thai club, that was my first proper contact with martial arts,” he explained his beginnings in an RFA press release.

In addition to grappling, he is involved in other physical activities. “I like other sports, but especially martial arts. Besides that, I also like the outdoors,” Nenad described his leisure activities.

Avramovic came to the RFA as a fairly experienced fighter. He made his debut at the RFA Grand Opening tournament in Bratislava. In the main event, he caught Milan Datelinka completely by surprise and set up a perfect guillotine after a takedown by the Slovakian.

He was supposed to face David Hošek at the RFA 3 tournament, but the match was postponed to a later date of the tournament. With a strategy of not letting Avramovic get the takedown, Hosek had no chance of success.

The Serbian fighter didn’t allow Hosek to unleash hell in the standing position and thanks to a great strategy managed to control the Czech bomber for 3 rounds. After two dominant wins he earned a title shot, which he will get at the RFA 11 tournament in Bratislava.

The winner will be the one who pushes his game

His opponent will be the previously undefeated Dominik Humburger, who he will face in a 5×5 minute match. Unlike Humburger, the Serbian fighter already has one such experience. Now he will face another one against Humburger and Avramovic believes that the key factor of the fight will be the enforcement of his strategy.

“The winner will be the one who has prepared better and enforces his game, ” predicts Avramovic, who is very grateful for this opportunity.
