According to him, Mike Maignan and André Onana are among the five best goalkeepers in the world. Both are at clubs based at the San Siro – AC and Inter.

“Maignan has already proved what he is capable of last season. So it’s not remotely surprising that he’s still making such remarkable performances and saves in Milan,” Buffon said of AC’s number one goalkeeper.

“As for Onana, he showed from the very beginning that his shoulders are wide enough to carry the Inter jersey. Fighting for the position with Samir Handanovic is also a tough nut to crack. I think at the moment both Maignan and Onana are among the five best goalkeepers in the world,” the former Juventus goalkeeper concluded.
