Chelsea will be back! Militao should have been red carded, says Frank Lampard after Real Madrid game

Chelsea have had another disappointing Champions League exit. According to Frank Lampard, the game could have looked different if Eder Militao had received a second yellow card.

Chelsea had a very difficult task ahead of them. They took a two-goal deficit into their home Champions League quarter-final rematch.

“Militao should have received a second yellow card. At this level it is given in a situation like this. Lampard also gave the example of previous years in the press conference, when Chelsea failed to qualify for the Champions League and won the Premier League the following year. There is no doubt that a similar scenario would be welcomed by the club’s fans.
