After his summer transfer from Fenerbahce Istanbul, Kim Min-jae immediately settled into the starting eleven of Napoli, who are dominating Serie A this season and are also fighting for a place in the Champions League. The South Korea international could move to the Premier League in the summer.
Three leading English clubs are interested in Kim Min-jae. The first of them is Manchester United, which will most likely be abandoned in the summer by fan-hated captain Harry Maguire and possibly another stopper, Swedish international Victor Lindelöf.
Another suitor for the player’s services is Liverpool, which has the great Virgil van Dijk in the centre of defence, but also the excellent Ibrahima Konaté, who often has health problems, and the similarly “glassy” Ibrahim Konaté, who is often substituted alongside him Joe Gomez.
The third in the bunch is Tottenham Hotspur, who not only have defensive problems that they want to address in the summer.
Kim Min-jae could be the next defensive reinforcement from Serie A, the Roosters’ purchase of Cristian Romero some time ago proved to be a good one.
the 26-year-old Kim Min-jae stands at 190 centimetres and is not only that, he is basically a supernatural phenomenon. He rules the Naples defence with a steady hand, and Amir Rrahmani, the 29-year-old captain of the Kosovo national team, has grown up a lot alongside him.
The South Korean international confirmed his form from club football at the World Cup in Qatar, where he was a mainstay of his team.
Aerial duels and ball retrieval are his key domains, Kim Min-jae is phenomenal in these aspects. Will his form in Naples this year catapult him to one of the Premier League’s top teams?
