Jiri Prochazka flew to Las Vegas
He had to give up his championship belt! An injury that Dana White called one of the worst he has seen in his organization in years. No one knew when he would be back, however the UFC boss revealed that his return would be straight into a title fight.
That’s how much he respects the Czech fighter in the biggest MMA organization in the world. Procházka spent all of last month at the UFC Performance Institute (UFC PI) in Las Vegas. This is one of the most modern centers for MMA fighters from all over the world.
Here, under the supervision of the best experts, his recovery process is taking place and it must be added that everything is going to the best of his ability. The Moravian Samurai has posted a new video on his YouTube channel showing the progress of his rehabilitation techniques and how he spent his days in Vegas.
He posted a unique video on his youtube channel
The unique footage shows how he spent his days in his new home and at the UFC PI, and in particular reveals his work with the professionals here. They are literally thrilled with his work after a challenging injury and haven’t seen similar results in a long time.
However, they often have to put the brakes on the former champion, even if he would like to step it up. “I stopped you because we don’t have to go any further, we have what we wanted to have,” the physiotherapist at one point stops Walk on the treadmill.
He told him that he would like to continue, however, the specialists have to pay attention to the correct procedures and do not want to put too much strain on the body. “You have to remember that this is not a competition and we don’t want to put too much strain on it.”
The progress of the rehabilitation process has amazed UFC experts
But the results so far have been stunning. “You’re doing a great job, these are the best results I’ve seen in three years, and we’ve worked with more than 500 athletes. That’s amazing,” the experts praise Prochazka’s work.
“You sleep for nine and a half hours, which is great, you give your body a chance to recover from what you do all day,” they appreciate his recovery process. “That’s the level of a true champion. Getting a good night’s sleep is essential in this recovery phase, otherwise all the work wouldn’t be as effective.”
Jiří Procházka will receive a performance analysis from the experts that will contain all the information needed to perform at his best. Collaborating with such experts is definitely a step in the right direction, which will prevent possible overloading of the affected areas.
Even Procházka himself praises the cooperation with the experts from UFC PI. “I can feel how it works. How the body is more connected from the legs to the neck, which is great.”” Will we really see his summer return to the cage? The champion is clear.
“Anything is possible if you really want it and I really want it, so I think I’ll be back in the summer and I’ll keep working on it slowly so I’m 100% confident not only in my shoulder but in my whole body. My mind is totally bulletproof and I’m looking forward to being champion again,” he told the fans.
