It doesn’t pay to piss off the Hammers! Watch how a West Ham supporter grounded a Chelsea fan with one punch. He then left in a wheelchair

In the 23rd round, Chelsea visited the London Stadium, where West Ham play their home games. Both teams are not in ideal form, so there was room to kick on. Of course, there is also a great rivalry among the fans, which was already evident outside the stadium, where one Chelsea supporter left on a wheelchair after one punch.

Chelsea took the lead fairly early, Joao Félix getting the ball into the net in the 16th minute shortly after getting offside earlier.

The home side managed to respond when Emerson equalised after less than half an hour of play. Chelsea still kept the ball on their feet and it was clear that they needed three points after many losses. Only she didn’t add another goal and Graham Potter had to settle for just a point.

However, it was already lively outside the stadium before the game with fans of both teams shouting at each other. One Hammers fan, however, got fed up and decided to take action.

As can be seen in the video, which quickly went viral on Twitter, all it took was one punch and the Chelsea fan was lying motionless on the ground afterwards. Perhaps they were inspired to watch MMA when, coincidentally, UFC 284 took place that evening.

The man who was punched woke up after a while, but he wasn’t as active as before and was even taken away from the scene in a wheelchair.

Chelsea are currently in ninth place after three draws, while West Ham are in 16th place, enjoying a two point lead over 18th placed Everton.

The latter, however, has a game in hand. As well as seventeenth placed Leeds United, who are just one point behind the London outfit.

The Blues next head to Germany to face Borussia Dortmund before welcoming Southampton. It’s West Ham who have another London derby, this time against Tottenham.
