Zuckerberg has spoken out about the duel with Musk: He doesn’t take it seriously at all! Is it time to move on?
A fight that would break records. But Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk still haven’t agreed on the details. Not long ago, there was talk of the duel taking place in Rome, and the (non-)participation of the UFC was discussed. But now the Meta boss has not pleased the fans of this contest.
A fight that would break records. But Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk still haven’t agreed on the details. Not long ago, there was talk of the duel taking place in Rome, and the (non-)participation of the UFC was discussed. However, the Meta boss has now failed to please the fans of this contest.
When the speculation about the duel of the two heads of social networks began, it was not much believed. However, both Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk confirmed that they would be willing to actually fight each other.
This was immediately seized upon by UFC boss Dana White, who would like the fight to take place under the cover of the biggest organization on the planet. He even liked the idea of the duel taking place in the Roman Coliseum and began working on making it happen.
Musk, however, said he didn’t want the UFC to get involved in the fight. He wanted to stream the fight live on Meta and Twitter platforms for free. But there are multiple hooks.
The biggest one is the fact that while no one can doubt Zuckerberg’s ability and form, the case of Musk is different. The Twitter chief’s approach has been noticed by Zuckerberg himself, who now doubts the match will happen.
“I offered him a real match. Dana White offered to make the match a regular duel with charitable purposes. But Musk wouldn’t confirm a date, then said he needed to have surgery, and now he’s asking to make the professional fight a backyard workout,” MMA Fighting quotes Zuckerberg as saying.
“If Elon ever gets serious and takes this as an official event, he knows how to contact me. Otherwise, it’s time to move on,” the Meta boss is clear.
Additionally, Zuckerberg admitted that his focus in this case will be on fighting people who take the sport seriously. It’s questionable whether Zuckerberg’s fights would be attractive to the UFC even in this case.
