You won’t see Sparta’s matches in the preliminary rounds of European competitions on Czech TV! The exclusivity was obtained by Sport 1 channel

Fans of Sparta Prague will not be able to see their team’s matches in the Champions League preliminary round and the following matches in the preliminary rounds of European competitions on free-to-air television. The exclusivity for its broadcasting has been granted to Sport 1 and Sport 2 channels.

Sparta in the Champions League preliminary round on Czech TV? No way! Not even in the following matches in case of promotion or non-advancement.

In short, Sparta fans will not see their favourite team on free-to-air television until the group stage of any European competition.

The exclusivity of its matches has been granted to Sport 1 and Sport 2 channels. However, this is not to the liking of many fans.

These channels are not freely accessible and are no longer available on O2 TV, which many of them have bought for the Fortuna League broadcasts.

Now Spartans will have to subscribe to another service that will offer them these matches.

Exclusivity for one football club is unprecedented in the country, but it is expected that such cases will increase in the future.
