It wouldn’t be a surprise if Xavi felt wronged and angry at the management. However, the legend of the Catalan team is not complaining publicly. On the contrary. Before his last duel, he revealed in a press conference that he respects the situation as much as possible.

“I respect the president’s decision to sack me. He decides. I will always be a Barcelona fan, I will always support the club,” Xavi let himself be heard, whose words are quoted by Fabrizio Romano.

Xavi is not defending his return

“I’ve had difficult days here, but I’m doing well. I have a clear head and I would like to say that I am proud of the two and a half years I have spent here. If one day I would like to come back? Yes, why not? I would like to, it’s the club of my life,” says the Barcelona coach.

“We have been through a rollercoaster of emotions. I’m not closing the door, on the contrary,” added Xavi Hernández.

I am grateful to have you as a friend,” Marc-André ter Stegen said on social media.
