Lionel Messi moved overseas from Europe this summer and is enjoying life in Miami to the full. He shines on and off the pitch, and his contentment is evident in every shot. And Inter are preparing a new home for him.

His arrival has completely changed football in the United States. Lionel Messi is getting the treatment he deserves in America. Fans adore him, look forward to seeing him, sell out stadiums.

The Argentine magician rewards them with great performances, with beautiful football. You can tell he’s enjoying life in Miami. What a change from the last two years in Paris, where he didn’t have it easy.

Inter Miami has helped not only himself, but the MLS. And club boss David Beckham has much to look forward to. The club, which was founded only a few years ago, will soon have a new home. Messi is expected to play there.

Miami currently plays in a stadium called DRV PNK, which has a capacity of around 21,000 seats and is not exactly presentable in appearance. However, now they have officially started digging into the ground so that a new shrine can be built.

The Florida city can look forward not only to the stadium, but also to a large public park and entertainment district in its vicinity. The entire site will be called Miami Freedom Park and the whole project looks spectacular.

The stadium will have a seating capacity of 25,000, the public park will be 58 acres in size and will include soccer fields for the community and various entertainment and commercial spaces. Of course, there will also be hotels, restaurants and shops.

“We will set a new standard for what sports complexes can be. We look forward to providing families with a place with food and entertainment that can be used all year round. I can’t wait to welcome fans to the state-of-the-art stadium and hear their chants when Messi and his Inter Miami team take the field for the first time in 2025,” owner Jorge Mas told the club’s website.

Messi has a contract in Miami until 2025, but it also includes an option for a one-year extension. This should guarantee that the best footballer in history will actually play at the new shrine.
