The top Czech women’s football league has had another round and this time we have seen a change at the top. Sparta only drew at Slovácko, which put their rivals from Slavia in first place. The winner of the regular season will be decided by the weekend derby.

The first match of the 13th round was the clash between Slavia and Baník Ostrava. The favourites confirmed their role and were already leading 6:0 at half-time. Wafula Marjolen Nekesaová scored four times, Haleigh Kae Stackpole and Tamara Morávková added a goal each.

In the second half, the girls in Sšiovan jersey added more goals, Stackpole scored again, defender Michaela Khýrová scored twice and Channing Foster, who made her debut in Slavia, scored once. The Sešivans won 10:0.

Lokomotiva Brno continued their long losing streak and fell at home to Slovan Liberec. Aneta Buryanova scored first, followed by Spartans Kateřina Bužková and Anna Šubrtová and Kristína Košíková added a goal by the end of the first half.

The fifth goal was scored by Karolína Křivská in the second half and for Lokomotiva Kristýna Příkaská reduced the score to 1:5.

Slovácko and Sparta followed. The team from Uherské Hradiště is becoming more and more competitive and now they proved it to the fullest. Alena Pěčková secured the lead for her team, Sparta only reduced it to 1:1 in the 83rd minute through Eliska Sonntagová.

The last match was played at Dukla, where Viktoria Plzeň arrived and celebrated a truly dramatic 3:2 victory. Anita Ajazi sent Dukla into the lead, but after less than an hour of play Janka Lukáčová equalised.

In the 79th minute, Dukla took the lead again when Veronika Dvorská scored. And although it seemed that the Prague players were going for the win, the opposite was true. In the 91st and 93rd minutes Miroslava Mrázová scored for Viktoria.

After thirteen rounds, Slavia is now leading the league with a one-point lead over Sparta, who they will face on Sunday at Letná for the winner of the regular season, which will end with this match.

The third place belongs to Slovácko, which has a one-point lead over Slovan Liberec. Viktoria Plzeň is next in fifth place, while the trio Lokomotiva, Dukla and Baník, who are last with a four-point deficit, are currently fighting for the title.
