Václav Černý has spent his entire professional career in the Netherlands so far. At the age of 17, he left Příbram for the academy of Ajax, from which he transferred to Utrecht in 2019.

However, it can be said that he did not win his place at this club. Utrecht then sent him on loan to Twente, where the native of Pribram then moved permanently. And he did well.

Cerny put up great numbers in the 2022/23 season, scoring thirteen goals and assisting eleven more in 32 games. In hockey terminology, he scored 24 points, and he also scored one more goal in the Conference Qualifiers.
