Wimbledon shook up the rankings. Djokovic wins, drops to seventh in the rankings. Pliskova out of the top 10, Bouzkova improves
Wimbledon was extremely specific this year. For one thing, no ranking points were awarded, and there were no Russian male or female tennis players. Nevertheless, the women’s part of the tournament was won by a native of Russia. The famous tournament shook up the ATP and WTA rankings.

Djokovic wins, yet falls. So did Kyrgios
As already mentioned, the whole Wimbledon was specific. Perhaps the only thing that remained somewhat traditional was Novak Djokovic’s ultimate victory in the men’s portion of the tournament. In the final, he defeated Nick Kyrgios, who for the first time in his career had made it this far in a Grand Slam.
But despite this, both players have to accept the fact that they will fall in the rankings. Djokovic will now be as high as number seven, having dropped four places. The runner-up Kyrgios has dropped five places, making him the 45th player on the ATP circuit.
Daniil Medvedev remains the world number one, with Alexander Zverev at number two. Rafael Nadal is the new number three, followed by Stefanos Tsitsipas, Casper Ruud and Carlos Alcaraz.
Andrey Rublev, Felix Auger-Aliassime and Jannik Sinner round out the top ten.
The best of our tennis players is 69. Jiri Vesely, followed by Jiri Lehecka. Zdeněk Kolář, who jumped six places to 113th, is closer to the top 100.
Pliskova dropped 8 places, Bouzkova moved up
Elena Rybakina, the Russian-born Kazakh player, dominated the women’s section of Wimbledon. She remains in 23rd position after the tournament. On the other hand, the defeated finalist Ons Jabeur drops three places and is now the world number five.
Iga Shwiatek is the world number one, followed by Anett Kontaveit and Maria Sakkari. Fourth place is still defended by Paula Badosa.
The main change in the top ten is the elimination of Karolina Pliskova. She dropped from seventh to 15th. From the sixth to the tenth place are Aryna Sabalenka, Danielle Collins, Jessica Pegula, Garbine Muguruza and Emma Raducanu.
Barbora Krejcikova has also seen another drop in the WTA rankings and is now 17th. On the other hand, even without counting the points from Wimbledon, Marie Bouzkova has moved forward and is now ranked 61st.
Petra Kvitova is now ranked 24th, and Markéta Vondrousová rounds out the top 50. Tereza Martincova is 57th, while Kateřina Siniaková is close to dropping out of the elite 100, falling 14 places to 93rd. The exact opposite of Siniakova is Linda Noskova, who jumped 29 places and is now 113th.
