Will we see a trilogy with McGregor? Nate Diaz says the Irishman has to earn the fight
Conor McGregor is recovering from a nasty injury and now the wait is on to see what opponent he chooses for his comeback. Nate Diaz is not opposed to a third fight with him, but he has some conditions. The Irishman believes he has to earn the trilogy, and he can’t do it any other way than by fighting.

Nate Diaz took a dig at Conor McGregor, saying that he is not opposed to a third fight, but the Irishman has to earn it, which McGregor is certainly not happy about.
He’s always been the one to set the terms. But that’s gone now, especially because of a bad streak, with the Irishman losing 3 of his last 4 fights.
“I’m not fighting Conor until his leg grows back and he beats some opponents so we’ll know he’s still got it in him,” Diaz said on his social media.
Diaz wants to fight in his native California in January and his opponent could be Dustin Poirier, but he said he won’t fight until February at the earliest.
That didn’t make Diaz too happy, so he’ll have to find another opponent. What it will be is still in the stars, although the tournament is slowly approaching.
What about McGregor? He’ll probably get himself sorted next summer and would like to face the winner of the title fight, Charles Oliveira or Justin Gaethje.
