Will two of its former megastars return to the Premier League?
The English Premier League could see the return of two big megastars from previous years. Specifically, Real Madrid’s Eden Hazard and Atletico Madrid’s Luis Suárez.
The English Premier League could see the return of two big megastars from previous years. Specifically, Real Madrid’s Eden Hazard and Atletico Madrid’s Luis Suárez.
Eden Hazard
Eden Hazard and his future at Real Madrid is virtually nil. Coach Ancelotti and the White Ballet management are in agreement and do not count on Hazard’s further stay at the club.
Newcastle United have shown great interest in the Belgian midfielder , who will probably be linked with every transfer until the end of January thanks to unlimited funds.
However, the £ 33 million offer did not excite the royal club. They sent a clear reply to England that they would not sell Hazard for less than £42 million (€50 million). In fact, they paid a sum of 115 million euros when they engaged Hazard from Chelsea.
Moreover, the player himself has noted that if he were to actually move from Spain, his preferred option is to return to Chelsea, because that is where he has had the highlight of his career so far.
However, Chelsea’s interest is unlikely, but anything can happen in football. According to behind-the-scenes sources, Hazard himself does not want to leave Real, but is open (or rather reconciled) to leaving in the summer.
Luis Suárez
That Luis Suárez, coach Simeone and Atletico management are all in agreement that if an acceptable transfer offer comes in, the Uruguayan sharpshooter can leave.
Who is interested? Aston Villa, of course, with coach Gerrard in charge. That way former Liverpool teammates Suárez, Gerrard and Coutinho can form a striking trident again.
This vision is not unrealistic at all, as Suárez wants to join the Premier League and working with Gerrard will surely be a great option for him.
Under coach Simeone, he has made only three appearances for Atletico Madrid in this season’s La Liga.
