Several players from the Czech Republic will play in the Bundesliga again in the new season. At the moment, five players are expected to join the team, with the arrival of Alex Kral also in the cards. In Wolfsburg, a fresh 18-year-old talent is fighting for a chance.
Patrik Schick, Adam Hložek, Pavel Kadeřábek, Vladimír Darida, Jiří Pavlenka. These are the names that we will probably see with 100% certainty in the new Bundesliga season. However, this list may not be final.
In fact, the arrival of Alex Kral to one of the Bundesliga clubs is in play. There is speculation about the interest of Hertha Berlin or Bayer Leverkusen. Until recently, there was a lot of talk about RB Leipzig, coached by Domenico Tedesco, who managed King at Spartak Moscow.
But beware. In Wolfsburg, the newly 18-year-old midfielder, who has been at the club since the summer of 2020, is fighting for his place in the sun, having left Slavia Prague, where he came from Slovácko in the past.
Lukas Ambros is one of our biggest talents, he was one of the key players in Wolfsburg’s youth team last season, even finishing the year as their captain. He also played in the youth Champions League.
Overall, the skilful midfielder managed to play 24 games for Wolfsburg’s youth team last season with a record of 2 goals and 6 assists.
His performances have earned him a call-up to the A-team, with whom he is preparing for the new season under the guidance of Niko Kovac, former coach of Bayern Munich and Monaco, who is also a legendary footballer.
However, Ambros is not the only member of Wolfsburg’s nineteen who is fighting for a chance. Along with him, seven other youngsters have received this honour. It is not impossible that one of them will actually manage to break into the team, or that he will get at least a few minutes in the top competition.
