Adnan Januzaj could return to the Premier League again after some time away. A possible move to West Ham is also being talked about as he would play again under coach David Moyes. It was under him that he played at Manchester United.
A big future was predicted for the 26-year-old Januzaj. He has been in Manchester United’s academy since the U18 category. In the most successful season of 2013/2014, he started 27 matches in which he scored 4 goals and 3 assists.
Since then, however, he has never settled properly in the first team permanently. After a loan spell at Dortmund, he donned the Sunderland jersey, then left the Isles in 2017 to join Real Sociedad, where he still plays today.
He plays regularly for the club, picking up points, settling in. However, in a recent interview, he admitted that he is unclear about his future. Moreover, when he started to delay signing a new contract, speculation arose about his possible departure from San Sebastian, where his current club is based.
What potential future employers are swirling around Januzaj? According to the Todo Fichajes newspaper, Fenerbahce have entered the race for the Belgian, but West Ham are said to be in the best starting position.
The 26-year-old midfielder has already worked for Manchester United once under coach David Moyes, and they have a mutually warm relationship from that time.
Will the Hammers’ owners Gold and Sullivan shell out a sum of around €12 million for the offensive midfielder, as currently estimated by Transfermarkt? Let’s be surprised!
