Will Schick find salvation in a move to a big club? The Czech marksman is reportedly interested in the 20-time English champion!
Patrik Schick is struggling this season. It’s like he’s wet with gunpowder. He’s getting chances, but he’s not converting them. Now he’s injured and a teammate has spoken ill of him to the media. Will a winter escape to a bigger club save him?

What a difference from last season. Patrik Schick scored 24 goals and added 5 assists last season. He was a key player in Bayer Leverkusen’s run to the Champions League despite finishing third in the Bundesliga.
There was speculation of interest from bigger clubs, but the transfer did not happen. Instead, the Czech striker signed a new long contract and was expected to at least partially follow up his goalscoring feast. But so far, that hasn’t happened at all.
In 15 competitive games Schick has scored only three goals and it is clear that he is not well. He has also been criticised in the media by teammate Kerem Demirbay. However, Leverkusen, who have already changed their coach, are still in the race. Now the Czech striker is injured and Xabi Alonso has to do without his services.
However, there is speculation in England about an interesting transfer. The Mirror has reported that Manchester United are looking for a striker and there are three names in play. One of them should be Schick.
The main target was supposed to be Joao Felix, but Erik Ten Hag reportedly prefers the classic goal-hungry number nine. And that’s exactly what Schick does. But there’s little competition.
In addition to the Czech star, the Red Devils are exploring the possibility of bringing in Jonathan David from Lille or Moussa Dembele from Olympique Lyon.
