Will Pudilova want a rematch? I feel like a winner, I don’t need it! If it comes down to it, it will be personal

Lucie Pudilova must be really angry. The elite Czech MMA fighter went down in the UFC over the weekend, although most of the fight scene doesn’t understand how the judges could score her opponent a win. The Czech has now weighed in on a possible rematch.

Joselyne Edwards now boasts a streak of three wins in a row in the UFC. But her latest win has a bitter aftertaste. Virtually no one in the MMA community who saw the fight recognizes her. It’s official, but the experts, media and fans are clear.

The fight should have been won by Lucie Pudilova, who won two rounds out of three. Immediately after the fight there was talk that the Czech fighter was robbed of her win. Even a legend like Daniel Cormier stood up for her.

But what next? Pudilova and her team filed a request for a review of the result and a protest. But a protest almost never succeeds, really only in rare cases. And the request for a review of the result came to naught.

Nothing will change the result and Pudilova has her first defeat since returning to the UFC. Would she want a rematch to confirm she should have been the winner?

“I feel like a winner, I don’t need it, but I think she needs it. My team wants a rematch, I have no problem going in there and beating her. If there is a rematch, it will be personal.

It’s not her fault they gave it to her, but she went up to our team after the match and gave the middle fingers, then raised both hands in victory. She herself must feel it wasn’t. Then she said I didn’t do anything, she did.

I take it personally for all of this. If someone gave me a win after a fight like that, I’d say ok, but I’d fold my ears and walk away. And I’ll freely admit it. I lacked humility there. Fighters should respect each other. This girl probably has no conscience,” he told Kaocko.cz.

Her next fight is currently in the stars as she will want to take a break after such a defeat. But the UFC will probably grant her demands, as Dana White himself realizes what a steal it was.
