Will Mbappé miss the rematch with Real Madrid? The Frenchman is now undergoing an important examination

Kylian Mbappé was the central figure in the first Champions League semi-final between Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, scoring the closest of goals for the Parisian club with a few seconds left. But the rematch is in his hands.
As not only the first game at the Parc des Princes showed, Kylian Mbappé is in incredible form and is a key player for his team.
The French striker was PSG’s most dangerous player and Real Madrid’s defence couldn’t cope with him. It was the young Frenchman who scored the decisive goal in the last minute.
While Real Madrid managed the dress rehearsal for Wednesday’s rematch and won the Santiago Bernabéu with a big 4-1 victory over Real Sociedad, their rivals from Paris fared much worse in the French league. PSG failed to make the trip to Nice and lost 1:0 after a poor performance.
Mbappé once again proved his indispensability to the Parisian side. The French striker did not enter the match due to cards and the team around Messi and Neymar could not find a recipe for the defense of the Nice team.
The defeat of Nice may not be so much of a disappointment for Mauricio Pochettino’s team. He has a comfortable thirteen points lead on second-placed Nice in the Ligue One table. However, the wrinkles on the Argentine coach’s forehead were mainly caused by the fact that his biggest star Kylian Mbappé did not finish Monday’s training.
Mbappé suffered an unspecified injury and is now undergoing a medical examination that will be key to deciding whether the 23-year-old marksman will fly with the team for the rematch in Madrid.
It would certainly be a big blow for the team from France. Although they completely dominated the first leg, the difference of a single goal at the Santiago Bernabéu is not that marked given the nature of the first leg.
The next few hours are crucial for the Parisian side and the fans are praying for good news. Whichever club you are a fan of, the absence of such a player would be sad news for football as a whole.
