Will Martial be the next to be axed at Manchester United? Watch how he argued with ten Hag on the pitch during the game
The situation at Manchester United is not improving at all, quite the opposite! This is clearly evidenced by the moment from Saturday’s game against Newcastle, when Anthony Martial argued directly during the game with the coach Erik ten Hagem. But he is far from the only Red Devils player who is like that.

But he is far from the only Red Devils player who is like that.
Martial in the starting line-up
Rasmus Hojlund is definitely not playing well. He hasn’t scored a single goal in the Premier League so far and Martial has been preferred for the game against Newcastle. He already has one accurate shot this season, but he didn’t add a second one on Saturday.
On the other hand, he was one of the Red Devils’ lowest scoring players along with his fellow forward Marcus Rashford, which was something that Hag couldn’t watch anymore as he had both substituted in the 61st minute.
The following moment from the Newcastle game clearly illustrates the current situation at Manchester United. It is not rosy at all, on the contrary, you can see a great deal of frustration on everyone’s faces.
Ten Hag’s problems with the players
It is not news that ten Hag has problems with his charges. It practically all started with Cristiano Ronaldo, who eventually left for Saudi Arabia last year.
However, that was far from the end of it as the feuds spread further. Specifically, the biggest problem since the start of the season has been Jadon Sancho, who hasn’t looked at the pitch since the criticism and is expected to leave.
In addition, there are reports of Raphael Varane’s dissatisfaction, and now Martial will probably join this group of players unhappy with the Dutch coach.
So the question is, is it not just Hag? There has been talk for some time that the previously successful coach is losing the cabinet. The images from Saturday’s game more or less confirm this. So does the performance on the pitch. The players have been playing below their potential for a long time and they can’t even outplay significantly weaker teams.
The previous coaches were fired by the Red Devils management long before they even got into this situation. So, ten Hag still enjoys support, but it’s hard to believe that will last much longer unless something improves. We’ve been mentioning this for over a month anyway, nothing is improving and the Dutch coach is still holding the reins of Manchester United.
