Moreover, the young youtuber would like to swap boxing for MMA, and has even applied for a contract in the UFC. But now he has received another interesting offer.
When talking about the best MMA organization in the world, everyone immediately thinks of the UFC. However, Bellator is still trying to compete, bringing in interesting fighters and fighters, as well as trying to financially value the members of their organization as much as possible.
So when Jake Paul recently tipped off the UFC boss and also offered to quit boxing if he was offered a contract by the UFC, Bellator couldn’t just sit by and watch.
With UFC boss Dana White demanding the talented youtuber take a doping test, Paul countered with a request for a drug test for a change. And what did Bellator say? It immediately offered Paul the opportunity to get tested by the MMA organization.
Bellator boss Scott Coker let it be known in an interview with MMA Junkie that it’s obvious Paul wants to excel, so he’s happy to welcome him to his organization. He expects him to go train with the best and do his best to succeed.
“I understand that he wants 10 fights in boxing and then move on to MMA. I know a lot of people don’t understand that, but I’m telling you that you shouldn’t underestimate people like that. When they decide to do something, they are able to turn their beliefs into reality,” Coker expressed.
In boxing, Paul currently holds a 5:0 record. He has beaten the former UFC champion twice. The question is how he would fare against professional boxers. Seeing him fight under MMA rules would be very interesting.
