Will Hložek go on loan? Speculation in Germany that he should play in the Bundesliga with one of the weaker teams
Adam Hložek played regularly for Leverkusen after his arrival from Sparta Prague, but the team did not do well at all. In the last match he was not deployed and immediately got three points. Now he has some good competition and the question is being asked in Germany, should he go on loan?
Adam Hložek played regularly for Leverkusen after his arrival from Sparta Prague, but the team did not do well at all. In the last match he was not deployed and immediately got three points. Now he has some quality competition and the question is being asked in Germany, should he go on loan?
Adam Hložek came to Bayer Leverkusen for a lot of money, and the club expects a lot from him in the future. In friendly matches he is one of the best on the pitch, he scored a goal in the cup match against Elvesberg.
However, Leverkusen lost that match and subsequently three league matches, against Borussia Dortmund, Augsburg and Hoffenheim. Hložek played in all of them, but was unable to reverse the defeat.
Against Mainz, the coach left him out and suddenly a 3:0 win came. However, the management needed to react to the bad start of the season and the talented winger Callum Hudson-Odoi came from Chelsea in England.
He should be the biggest competition for Hložek and the Czech player will have less workload. That’s why his name is being bandied about in Germany along with a guest appearance.
If Leverkusen decide to send him away for some time, it should be to a weaker Bundesliga team, where he should play regularly and gain experience. However, no further information has been revealed yet.
A fan of Czech football would immediately think of a short return to Sparta, but that would only make sense for a Czech team, not a German one that needs to get used to the local environment. So let’s be surprised how everything turns out.
EDIT:: The player’s agent has denied a possible guest appearance and the player is expected to stay at the club.
