Although Red Bull has not been involved in football for very long, it has already established its reputation and its system. The Salzburg club in particular has already demonstrated excellent work with youngsters. The hegemon of Austrian football hides a few gems in its team even now. Three names in particular are definitely worth remembering.

The Salzburg team has been part of the Red Bull group since 2005. Prior to that, Austria Salzburg had won four league titles in its entire history, the last of which was in 1997. But with the arrival of a wealthy owner, a lot has changed. Some for the worse, some for the better.

But what is certain is that Red Bull has brought a certainty of success to the beautiful city under the Alps. It took only two years to win the first title, and since 2014 no other title has been won in Austria. In total, Salzburg has won 12 titles since 2005 and there will surely be more to come after this season.

Salzburg has then discovered many outstanding players thanks to its great work with youth and excellent scouting. Erling Haaland in particular has shone recently, but players like Sadio Mané, Patson Daka, Dayot Upamecano and Dominik Szoboszlai have also worked in Austria. In short, there are many names.

And many talented footballers can be found in the Red Bull Salzburg squad even now. At least one has already made a name for himself in Europe, but others are expected to do so soon.

Which gems are Salzburg currently polishing to perfection?
Karim Adeyemi

Currently the most prominent figure in Salzburg’s current squad. His value is valued at €20 million by Transfermarkt, but he is expected to leave for a higher sum. After all, he is still only a 19-year-old striker.

The talented German with Nigerian roots has already scored 15 goals in 26 games this season, in addition to adding 7 assists. Apart from the league, he is also making a name for himself in the Champions League and has even already made 3 starts for the German national team, scoring goals there as well.

The Munich native is mainly linked with a move to Liverpool. He is destined for a stellar future. He can also play on both wings, has a great dribbling ability, can play constructive midfield and is willing to sacrifice himself for the team. In short, he has everything to become a star.

Luka Sucic

Does this name mean nothing to you? Soon it will. Luka Sucic only celebrated his 19th birthday in September, yet he is already a key figure for Salzburg and the youth Croatian Under-21s. His value is currently estimated at €7.5 million, but it will definitely grow.

If you enjoy midfielders with great ball control and a healthy confidence, then in time, if he fulfils his potential, the Croatian will become your favourite player in the future.

Sucic is a superb playmaker, but in addition to his excellent kicking technique, great dribbling and incredible vision, he is also adorned with teamwork, does a lot of running and is not afraid to shoot from long range. In short, a great link between midfield and attack. He also wins a lot of aerial duels.

He played 25 games for Salzburg this season with a record of 2 goals and 3 assists. His time will come soon.

Benjamin Šeško

Another unknown name just waiting to get more space. The 18-year-old Slovenian forward has already scored 7 goals and added 5 assists this season. He has appeared in 22 games, but in terms of minutes played, he has almost twice as many as the aforementioned Adeyemi.

Benjamin Šeško is valued at €8 million. With a height of 194 centimetres, he is naturally a real threat in header duels in opponents’ penalty areas. The media compare him a lot to Erling Haaland, who is one centimetre taller.

For his height, the Salzburg talent has incredible speed. They say he could compete with Kylian Mbappe. In the spring, he was measured at 36.1 km/h.

But what makes him different from Haaland? He’s more willing to go deep into the box, he’s more involved in the game and by all accounts he’s much more technical. While Haaland is more ferocious, Šeško is more composed. In short, he has tremendous potential.

The future is more than bright

Salzburg have many more talented players in their squad, but these three are already proving their qualities to some extent now, and they are at an age where it is really safe to say that they can still achieve anything.

But players like Maurits Kjaergaard and Roko Simic (both 18 years old) should be more involved in the team soon.

In addition to that, there are some interesting players shining in the team right now who, although they are already 20 years old or more, can still have a more than interesting future. For example, 20-year-old midfielder Nicolas Seiwald looks very mature, but his potential is probably not that great.

Mohamed Camara (21 years old), Brenden Aaronson (21 years old) and Rasmus Kristensen (24 years old) are all in contention for a move to the top five leagues.
