Will he become the UFC’s first three-weight champion? Cejudo wants to return to the cage!

Almost a year and a half has passed since the UFC welterweight champion retired. But now Henry Cejudo is thinking about a comeback, because he would like to dominate the third weight class.
Henry Cejudo has been retired from the sport for over a year now, but he is still keeping himself in shape and ready for a possible comeback. After all, he’s still only 34 years old, so he could fight for a while.
And it’s not impossible that it could happen. “Triple C” has dominated two weight divisions in the UFC, plus he won an Olympic gold medal in wrestling. But he’d like to change his nickname to “Quatro C”.
That would mean he would become the next UFC featherweight champion. Within the organization, he would like to be the first to ever dominate three weight classes.
He has dominated the flyweight and bantamweight divisions in the past, and now he would like to dominate the featherweight division, where Alexander Volkanovski holds the title and is fresh off a title defense against Brian Ortega.
Cejudo believes he has the right to leapfrog the other fighters in the rankings. “I’m the greatest fighter of all time. If you give me this opportunity, I promise you I will knock out Alex Volkanovski in less than 3 rounds,” he made his voice heard in late September.
He has subsequently toned it down a bit, acknowledging that Volkanovski is a quality fighter and that he can both lose and win, but he really wants the chance to fight him.
Will the 34 year old wrestler return to the octagon?
