Will Haaland change his jersey? Manchester City star receives unexpected away offer, fans are having fun over it

The World Cup is around the corner and some stars are taking a break. One of them is Erling Haaland, but he has received a very interesting offer for a guest appearance. This has amused the entire football public.

Erling Haaland is one of the biggest stars who will miss the World Cup in Qatar. His Norway failed to qualify for the championship. So now he’s going to take a break.

However, it doesn’t have to be that way. In fact, if he would like to have some fun and at the same time make amateur footballers or fans happy, he can accept the loan offer that Manchester City have received.

The offer was sent by Ashton United, who play in the seventh league of the English football pyramid. The team released a statement on November 14 confirming that they have officially submitted a loan offer to Manchester City for Haaland.

“We can confirm that we have submitted an application for the 28-day loan of Manchester City striker Erling Haaland. As thecurrent Premier League champion will not be in action until the end of December, we have approached our neighbours at the Etihad to keep Haaland fit,” the statement read.

Club manager Michael Clegg pointed out that the whole loan deal makes maximum sense and that Ashton United want to help keep Haaland fit. “It makes more sense than him playing golf for six weeks. He’ll be a good fit for the team, he’ll fit in perfectly with the dynamic of our team,” he added.

Of course, the offer is not expected to end successfully. However, Ashton United play their matches at a venue 20 minutes away from the Etihad Stadium.

Haaland, by the way, is in great form this season. After returning from injury, he hasn’t scored much in recent games like the whole of Manchester City, but his stats are still lethal.

The Norwegian sharpshooter has scored a superb 23 competitive goals in 18 games this season. He also added 3 assists.
