Mason Greenwood has been acquitted of the charges and is dealing with his future. He is also a Manchester United player, but the English club is still in internal discussions to give the English striker another chance. However, a Turkish big club has expressed interest in the player.

Fenerbahce is one of the biggest clubs in Turkey, however, it has been a long time since they last celebrated a title. The Istanbul giant last dominated the top competition in the summer of 2014. Since then, it’s still waiting.

Many times this team managed to fight for the second place, which is where they are this season. In doing so, Fenerbahce is not having a bad season. It’s just that its flamboyant rival Galatasaray is even better.

That’s why Fenerbahce is thinking of signing an English star. That is Mason Greenwood, the man who was recently acquitted of rape and domestic violence charges. But that doesn’t mean he hasn’t done anything.

Greenwood belongs to Manchester United, who could certainly use him at his best on the pitch, but the question is what the public would say. After all, the Manchester United women’s team is clearly against his return. And a similar opinion may prevail in the men’s section of the team or its management.

So the Red Devils are conducting an internal investigation and discussions that will decide the future of the 21-year-old footballer. Moreover, it is expected that Manchester United would face a lot of criticism in England if they included him back in the squad.

The same is expected in the case of Fenerbahce, however, the Turkish outfit is willing to take that risk. They are so eager for sporting success and so confident that Greenwood can be a key link that they will overlook the moral side of things completely.

For now, however, this transfer does not seem likely. The source is the Turkish newspaper FutoSpor and the Turkish media is not always very reliable.
