Will Arsenal’s nightmare come true? The club is under pressure with Manchester City and Liverpool competing for its jewel
Bukayo Saka has had a key season. He is no longer seen as just a great talent, but as a workhorse and an Arsenal jewel with whom the Gunners would definitely like to fight for trophies in time. But the London outfit must be wary, vultures are already circling around their jewel.

Here we go again. Arsenal have discovered, or rather nurtured, another talented player with huge potential, but before he can fully show it, he may be at another club.
Bukayo Sako looks to be having a breakout season. He was no longer seen just as a great talent, but as a key player, and he proved it not only with his performances, but also with his numbers.
The 20-year-old Englishman has scored 11 goals in the league this season alone, and assisted 7 more. A great balance considering his age. But Arsenal did not make it to the Champions League again, nor were they close to winning any trophy.
And that’s where we hit a stumbling block. Arsenal may be relying on the player having club DNA, caring about the club and therefore a chance to keep him, but that is no guarantee of anything these days. Especially when Saka is only under contract for two years and the Gunners are coming under pressure.
Manchester City and Liverpool, currently the two best English teams, are interested in the player and they have big ambitions, which they are able to fulfill at least by winning some trophies.
Arsenal must convince Saku that they are also capable of playing for trophies and operating in the Champions League in the foreseeable future. However, even that may not help. Saka is too important to the club, so expect him to be able to set almost arbitrary terms when it comes to contract negotiations.
Transfermarkt now estimates his value at €65 million. However, it certainly cannot be ruled out that he could leave for a higher sum.
