Will Alex King get his transfer after all? The midfielder is said to be close to a move to the Premier League
After the end of last season, Alex King could have been rummaging through the interested parties. West Ham, Everton, Leeds, Crystal Palace. But it only took one bad Euro for interest to fall off the face of the earth. But the expected move to the Premier League might just happen after all.

The line between success and failure is a thin one in football. Sometimes it only takes one good game to make a big transfer, sometimes one bad tournament is enough to ruin an almost finished transfer. Like in the case of Alex King.
During May and June, King was mentioned with a transfer to the Premier League almost every day, with West Ham, Leeds, Everton and Crystal Palace interested. Alex King was set to prove his worth at the Euros.
But his first game against Scotland didn’t go his way and he was substituted after just an hour of play. 28 minutes against Croatia, 27 minutes against England, 6 minutes against the Netherlands and 0 minutes against Denmark.
Speculation about a transfer to the Premier League died down and it looked like King would stay in Russia. But it’s the last day of transfers and everything could be different after all.
According to the Russian Football News Twitter account, Alex Kral is close to a move to West Ham. The national team midfielder is expected to go to the London club on loan with a transfer option.
This season at Spartak Moscow, Kral has lost his prominence in the starting lineup. In nine competitive duels, he made only three starts since the beginning of the match, then played 9, 17, 14 and 26 minutes. In the last game last week Thursday against Sochi, he sat only on the bench for the entire game.
