Why does Slavia have a problem with marodka? They all got injured in European cups, Trpišovský bitterly lamented

A large staff is plaguing Slavia Prague. In the past it was a big problem especially for rival Sparta, now it is an asset for the team from Eden.
Why is this happening? The reason is the demanding schedule, which simply cannot be sustained by a large number of players. And this is one of the reasons for the poor form.
Slavia dropped out of the European cups, and in the league they are no longer the favourites to win the title. There is also talk about why Václav Jurečka and Jakub Hromadou, who would certainly have helped, were not on the roster for Europe.
“Players who don’t play Europe play once a week and that’s why they are not injured. Those who are on the sick list now were all injured in European games – Ivan Schranz, Tomas Holes was also injured at Sivasspor, although he only made up for it in the warm-up before the league.
Petr Ševčík got injured in the home game against Cluj, when you go through games in quick succession and play more sharp games, there’s more chance of getting injured. Venca Jurecka was injured from Panathinaikos at that time, nobody knew at that moment how long it would be.
Plus it looked like Sor would be back for the first games, in the end his injury stretched until the middle of the group. These are things you can’t plan for. If Venca had played Europe, maybe he wouldn’t have been so successful in the league.
What we see with some players is that historically when they’ve played six games in a fortnight, they always get injured. For example, Kuba Hromada plays once a week and is basically always available,” said Jindřich Trpišovský at the post-match press conference.
It was certainly not easy to make his nominations for the cup matches. After all, due to the absence of offspring in the A-team, the roster cannot be complete, which has hurt Slavia now.
