Jiri Prochazka defeated Glover Teixeira to become the new UFC welterweight champion. He lost the fight, but he was able to finish the Brazilian and deserved the win.
After that, however, he decided to make a rather surprising move, dropping his ponytail, which set him apart from the rest of the scene. Why did he do it?
“Quite frankly, I cut my hair as I wanted to start a new phase of my life, ” he told reporter Ariel Helwani.
Now the Czech wrestler has cut his hair into a hedgehog. He will be able to enjoy this simple hairstyle throughout the summer, during which he will also find time to celebrate and relax.
But the rest will not be long, Procházka will soon be back in training and preparing for his defence.
He would like to get that done this year, but it is still not sure with whom. Jan Blachowicz seemed the most likely, now Magomed Ankalaev is the favourite.
