Yann Sommer from Switzerland came out of the gate according to the statistics of the prestigious website. He kept his team for the whole 120 minutes (60 of them shorthanded) and even though he did not catch even one penalty in the shootout, he has a place in the line-up by right.
West Ham’s Czech defender Vladimír Coufal is on the right edge of the defence. Although he was a little bit down on the second Danish goal, he scored an important assist and was one of the few Czechs who had the strength to work until the end of the game.
The rest of the defence is made up of Thomas Vermaelen and Harry Maguire, with Luke Shaw on the left. Both Manchester players can be understood, but instead of Vermaelen one of the Italian stoppers was offered, because both of them played very well.
Thomas Delaney, who scored the goal in the Czech net, and Switzerland’s Xherdan Shaqiri, who scored the overtime goal against Spain. Both players are rightfully in the starting eleven, as is winger Lorenzo Insigne. Jeremy Doku or Joakim Mæhle was offered in place of Jadon Sancho.
In attack we find the highest rated player through all the quarter-finals, Harry Kane. He scored two goals, one beautiful shot from distance was caught by the goalkeeper, therefore an absolutely fair assessment. Kasper Dolberg scored the decisive goal against the Czech Republic and won a number of important balls.
