The Czech national football team is slowly getting ready for the European Championship semi-finals, in which it will challenge the Netherlands. Jan Bořil, who will be suspended for yellow cards, will be missing from the line-up. Who will take his place?
Jan Bořil will not be able to play in the eight-final match against the Netherlands due to two yellow cards. Not only the player, but also the coach was criticized for that.
The national team doesn’t have a single player at left-back, so it will be a wobble.
There are only two options now, namely the deployment of Pavel Kadeřábek or Aleš Matějů. Both of them, however, are coming from the other side.
Now, however, they won’t have a choice. Matějů, however, believes that whoever of the pair comes in will be able to handle the match.
“When we finished in Italy, I didn’t have a day off, I was still going. Same with Pavel (Kadeřábek). Whoever comes in will give it their best. The replacement for Honza will be adequate,” he said in an interview with iSport.
Kadeřábek is more likely to start in Bořil’s place. He already has experience with big games, so he could be more of a certainty.
